Alpena cross country runs to state
The Alpena Wildcats' boys cross country team won the regional title and are headed to state. (October 27, 2018)
ALPENA — The Alpena Wildcats’ boys cross country team qualify for the second time since 2016. This year, the regional champion team is looking to finish in the top three led by twin brothers Aden and Josh Smith and Drew Seabase. Senior Clay Donajkowski is excited to be running with the Wildcats at state for a second time.
The girls qualified two runner to state, senior Maddy Boyd and freshman Madi Szymanski.
The Wildcats run at Michigan International Speedway for the Division 1 state championship on Saturday.
