ABOUT OUR MISSION
In 1974, four Air Force veteran broadcasters who served together in Europe built WBKB-TV. In doing so we launched the first and only local television service in Northeast Michigan. Our communities have come to rely on WBKB-TV and its digital platforms for timely local news coverage that matters to them, timely weather forecasts focused on the northeast and local sports up-close. Nearly 50 years later, WBKB-TV’s tradition as a vital community resource is growing.
Over the decades, many dedicated and talented individuals have left their mark on our station and the communities we serve. They’ve gone on to fulfill their own dreams. From time to time, WBKB has or expects to have vacancies in our Award Winning News Department that could be just the thing to grow your career.
