Wildcats sweat with Bay Athletic Club

Alpena — The Bay Athletic Club hosted a summer camp for high school athletes to workout on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 am. Many Wildcats were in attendance including Sophomore Jade Gray and Senior Aidan Day.
Gray feels these workouts have improved her agility and vertical to help her entering the fall season for volleyball. Day’s speed and strength will help beat off defenders in soccer and finish out the final 100 meters of a race on the track.
Bay Athletic Club’s Lindsey Bartz set up kettle bell, TRX, cones and ladder drills for the athletes. The classes continue through the end of August.
