John Glenn just too much for Alcona

ALCONA, Mich. — John Glenn got off to a rough start. It looked like Alcona was going to run up the score against them within the first minutes of the contest. After a timeout was taken by head coach Tory Jackson, the Bobcats hit the ground running. From there, John Glenn was able to get into a rhythm and that helped the Bobcats capture their fourth win of the season, beating Alcona by a score 50-32.

Rory O’Hare and Troy Porter paced the Bobcats with nine points each. Zach Stephenson led the Tigers in scoring with nine points.

John Glenn (4-1) will look for their fourth straight win on Jan. 7. They’ll be on the road again for a meeting with Ogemaw Heights (2-3). Alcona (2-3) looks to get back on track on as they go up against Mio (4-1) on Jan. 6.
