Fishy first day at the 44th Brown Trout Tournament

WANTED: Big Brownie

 

A successful first day at the 44th Brown Trout Tournament. There were fish that filled up all five categories on the leaderboard, the browns, walleyes, steelheads, salmon and lakers.

The heaviest fish of the day was a 18.75 pound salmon caught by Phil Smigelski.

Nathaniel Hoffman from Arizona was happy to compete in his first brown trout tournament and help reel in a king salmon that weighed 9.75 pounds.
