Cardinal Mooney hands Oscoda eighth consecutive loss

OSCODA, Mich. — The struggles continue for the Oscoda Owls girls soccer team. The Owls couldn’t put the pieces together on Friday, losing 8-1 to Cardinal Mooney. The Cardinals got off to a fast start scoring the first five goals of the match. After allowing a late first half goal, the Cardinals scored three unanswered to seal the deal.

Emma Przybylinski scored the lonely goal for the Owls. Oscoda now drops to 0-8 on the season. They’ll look to bounce back on Monday as they’ll be head to Tawas to take on the Braves. Monday’s game starts at 5 p.m.
