Alpena MI – Today winds were gusting up to 35 mph in spots, because of that we are in a gale warning into tomorrow morning with waves height at 6 feet. Tonight will be mostly cloudy breezy with lows in the 30s along the coastline 20s further inland. Winds will gust as high as 25 mph. Tomorrow will be partly sunny with highs in the 50s. Winds will be out of the south southwest at 5-10 mph with higher gusts up to 20 mph in the afternoon hours. Temperatures will began to warm starting on Wednesday and Thursday with highs approaching the 60s in spots. High pressure will be dominating the Midwest for a couple days keeping the rain chances away until Thursday night into Friday which will be our next best chance of rain. Temperatures will begin to fall starting on Friday as a cold front approaches the area.
