Alpena takes center stage as they host Traverse City Central on Game of the Week
ALPENA, Mich. — The Alpena Wildcats will square off with Traverse City Central this Friday at Wildcat Stadium to kickoff homecoming weekend. Both teams are coming off road victories last week.
Alpena was able to take down Marquette by a score of 28-25 and Traverse City Central gave Petoskey a major beating as they won 38-6. The Trojans are on top of the Big North Conference standings and the Wildcats are right behind them with just one loss in conference play.
The last time these two teams played each other was last year back on Oct. 5 where the Trojans crushed the Wildcats 42-7. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
