Gentry scores OT winner in collegiate debut
ALPENA, Mich. — Thursday, Emma Gentry made her collegiate debut for St. Cloud State University. The Alpena native scored her first points (1 goal, 1 assist) to help the Huskies capture their second win of the season, defeating Bemidji State 3-2 in overtime.
It’s safe to say that Gentry will never forget her collegiate debut. Not only she found the back of the net, but she scored the game-winning goal. The Huskies were on a two-on-one rush. Her teammate Jenniina Nylund fired a pass over to Gentry and the freshman was able to seal the deal.
