Pikes, browns and more for day five of the Brown Trout Tournament

ALPENA, Mich. — One of the best fish weighed in for day five of the 45th Michigan Brown Trout Tournament could not even make the leaderboard. A Northern Pike caught by Hunter McConnell made a rare trip to the scale. The 36.5 inch fish weighed in at 12.5 pounds. Assistant Tournament Director Tim Wieczorkowski brought in the largest brown of the day at 8.95 pounds, his third of the tournament. Two big salmon were added to the board. Jason Rensberry took over second and David Brege reeled in the third atlantic salmon of the tournament.
