MHSAA releases 2021-22 school year classifications

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Monday afternoon, the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) announced its classifications for its 2021-22 postseason tournaments. Classifications for the upcoming school year are based on a second-semester count date, which for MHSAA purposes was Feb. 10. Thirteen schools across the state will move up a class while 24 will drop down a class.
