Knights of Columbus sponsor Posen track meet

Posen, Mich — The Posen chapter of the Knights of Columbus has sponsored one Posen track meet a year over the last 35 years. Their sponsorship of this particular track meet allows for great participation by covering meet fees, allowing middle school athletes to compete, and by creating medals for the winners of specific events.
The Knights also help organize, run events, and monitor timing throughout the events. Posen Track head coach Tammy Hincka says that having an organization like the Knights of Columbus in a small community really makes a difference for the youth.
“Anytime, if there’s something needed, the Knights will be there to help out a little bit,” Hincka added.
