DETROIT, Mich.—For the past couple of years, the Detroit Pistons have needed a General Manager. Well on Thursday the Pistons finally found just who they were looking for.
Pistons’ hired former Oklahoma City Thunder executive Troy Weaver as the team’s next General Manager. Weaver spent the past 12 seasons with the Thunder, serving eight seasons as vice president and also assistant general manager.
As the team begins to rebuild, Weaver will work closely with senior adviser Ed Stefanski in running the Pistons’ basketball operations.
