Woman Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Man Who Was Texting Another Woman
A woman is facing charges after an alleged stabbing in Alpena Township.
According to Michigan State Police, 32-year-old Autumn Burton was helping a man move when she saw a text message between him and another woman. The press release states when he tried to comfort Burton by giving a hug, she stabbed him in the back with a knife.
Police found her at another home and were eventually able to get her to come outside where she said she threw the knife out the car window on the way home. The victim was treated by EMS and then taken to MyMichigan Medical Center.
Burton faces one charge of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of domestic violence.
