ALPENA, MI. – The Alpena Civic Theatre is bringing “Church Basement Ladies” to town.
“Church Basement Ladies is a show that is relevant to our community. When we did our first show, the response was amazing. That is why we decided to do another!” said Julie Meyers, director.
She added that the humor in the show is a great break from reality. “There is nothing in depth about. It is just a really good laugh. I think it is a good escape from what is really going on out there.”
The cast planned to perform the Christmas show in December of 2021. However, due to illness, they waited until this summer to bring it back to life. “Church Basement Ladies” will run from July 27-31. For ticket information, visit alpenacivictheatre.com
