Starlite Beach restrooms open for season

ALPENA, Mich. -Here’s a sign that spring and summer activities lie ahead.

The public restrooms at Starlite Beach are now open for the season.

The City of Alpena’s Department of Public Works opened the restrooms Monday.

Restrooms will be open for use after 8 a.m. daily.

Also those planning to travel through the state, now have more places to stop for a scenic break.

The Michigan Department of Transportation has reopened all 85 roadside parks. Giving travelers a chance to take in the views all summer long.
