Pets of The Week: Jamz and Barn Kittens
For this installment of Pets of The Week, we feature adoptable pets of the Alcona Humane Society. AHS is home to both cats and dogs looking for their furever homes.
Our first featured pet is Jamz. Jamz is an eight year old pit mix that has a heart of gold. He loves to get as many pets as he can, but also enjoys cuddles, car rides, playing, and walks. He’s the ultimate best friend and is ready to everything from watching squirrels run up trees to binge watching your favorite TV show. Jamz is the total package and is neutered, up to date on distemper vaccine and deworming. Unfortunately, Jamz doesn’t get along well with other animals, so he must go to a household where he can be the only pet—but he is ready to give you all of his love!
Next up, breaking an all time record for the number of animals featured on “Pets of The Week,” we have five barn cats. These cats are being offered in pairs and are great for keeping mice populations down around the home. All of the cats are fixed, up to date on deworming, and are feline leukemia negative. The group notes, while they are barn cats, they need attention just like any other pet, as well as shelter, food, and water.
