November Like Temperatures, Wind, and More Rain Chances Ahead
Alpena MI – Today we saw a little more sunshine in the area but we still have rain chances for this weekend and into next week. High temperatures were in the 60s today, enjoy the 60 degree temperatures because we will only be in the 40s this weekend into next week in terms of highs; lows will be in the 30s meaning that frost could be possible within the next couple nights. For tonight we will have mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers, breezy with lows in the lower 40s; upper 30s can not be ruled out in some outlying areas. Tomorrow the November like temperatures arrives with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Rain chances will be with us throughout the day. Winds will also an issue with gusts as high as 30-35 mph. The next 5 days our temperatures will remain 15 degrees below normal for this time of the year; this is thanks to a cold front that will pass through the area. Rain chances will be with us for next several days so we should be able to make up our rainfall deficit within the next week.
