MDHHS changes COVID requirements for long-term care facilities
LANSING, Mich. – Epidemic orders have been revised for Michigan workers in long-term care facilities.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) said routine COVID-19 testing is no longer needed for staff in skilled nursing facilities .
These include homes for the aged, home care workers and other related businesses with 13 or more staff fully vaccinated.
MDHHS said close to 300,000 doses of covid vaccines have been administered to state long-term care patients and staff.
