Drive sober or get pulled over into Labor Day

LANSING, Mich. – State and local law enforcement are stepping up patrols as Labor Day approaches.

The Get Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign is an effort to combat impaired driving.

Over the 2020 Labor Day Holiday state officials said there were more than 18 hundred crashes, 15 of those were fatal.

Those fatal crashes did involve alcohol or drugs .

You will see an increased presence of law enforcement on the road until September 6.
