Cool, Damp, & Windy Week Ahead
Alpena MI – Today we saw showers in the area with cool temperatures; our highs only reached the upper 40s which is below average for this time of the year. Tonight we will have showers in the area with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s. Winds will be out of the west at 5-10 mph. Tomorrow will be another cloudy, breezy and damp day with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Temperatures are going to remain below average for this time of the year with highs in the 50s; normal highs for this time of the year should be in the lower 60s so we will be 10 degrees below average. Rain chances should remain in the forecast for the entire week, mainly because of a upper level low that continues to sit over Ontario Canada and bring Northern Michigan rain and area to our north snow showers. Good news for us; there will be no snow in the forecast just rain.
