APS students return to class Monday
Alpena High School was the highest ranked school from Northeast Michigan by U.S. News & World Report.
ALPENA, Mich. — Alpena schools return to in–person instruction Monday, May 3.
An APS spokesperson said on Friday that the schools are ready to finish the last five weeks of the year face–to–face.
The schools will strictly enforce their COVID–19 rules going forward, including masks, sanitation, and keeping sick students home.
The school has been advised to pursue weekly testing for students and staff.
