ALPENA, MI.- This weekend isn’t just about Brown Trout Festival. Artists from all over the country gathered at Alpena’s Bay View Park this afternoon for the Art on the Bay show.
It’s the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Thunder Bay Arts Council of Alpena.
“Its probably a bit busier than normal. If we keep at this rate we will be way over our typical number.” said Clint Kendziorski, TBA Council Vice President.
There is something for everyone. Vendors displayed work such as oil paintings, wood carvings, and live music.
The TBA Council reviewed applications to join the show all year. Today is when the hard paid off, as thousands of guests gathered to enjoy a wide variety of artwork. “I just enjoy seeing everyone enjoying themselves. It is a fun time to see people that you haven’t seen in years and also to meet new people.” said Kendziorski.
