The Return Of Sunshine & Warmer Temperatures For Your Friday

Alpena MI – Today we saw a repeat of yesterday with clouds, cool temperatures but a little more sunshine in the afternoon. Sunshine will be on the increase going into tomorrow and with more sunshine our temperatures will be on the increase especially for this weekend and early next week. For tonight we will have partly cloudy skies with some patchy fog possible with lows in the lower 50s. Tomorrow more sunshine will be in store for us with high temperatures in the 70s, however going into the weekend our temperatures will return to summerlike levels with highs in the 80s; this means that our temperatures will be around 10-20 degrees above average for this time of the year. Our temperatures should normally be in the middle 60s for late September into early October but instead we will see our temperatures in the 80s even at times approaching the 90 degree mark.
