Alpena MI- Today we saw temperatures that were more common for June, July, and August with highs approaching the upper 80s with record high temperatures possible. Tonight we will remain clear and mild with lows temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s. This weekend our high temperatures will be colder than our overnight lows tonight. Tomorrow mostly sunny unseasonably warm with highs approaching record breaking territory, our high temperatures will be in the upper 80s. However, later this week our temperatures will begin to fall as a cold front passes through on Thursday and bring our temperatures down to reality and according to the temperature outlook tells us that we will be below average over the next 6-10 days. The forecasted high for tomorrow is supposed to be 89, but come on Sunday we will struggle to reach 50 YES 50 degrees!! Rain chances will also increase going into this weekend, which is good news since we need the rain.
