President visits Traverse City
TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. — President Joe Biden visited the King Orchards farm in Traverse City on Saturday.
He toured their cherry farm with Michigan senators Gary Peters and Debbie Stabenow, as well as governor Gretchen Whitmer. Growers informed him of the difficult growing season they experienced. Meanwhile, Whitmer and Stabenow told reporters they spoke to him about infrastructure. He also met Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, who showed him photos of the recent flood damage to the city.
Biden ended his visit with a trip to a visit to Moomer’s Homemade Ice Cream.
