Pets of The Week: Kodiak and Jules

For this week’s installment of Pets of The Week, we have two herding dogs looking to find their new forever families: Kodiak and Jules. These lovely dogs are both available for adoption at the Alcona Humane Society.

Kodiak is a five year old Sheppard mix that is looking to hop into your heart. He loves the outdoors and would make a great adventure buddy. With this, he’s great on leash and wants to be your walking buddy. When he’s not on walks, he loves to play with toys and other dogs but not cats. He’s completely house broken, up to date on vaccinations, and will be getting neutered this week.

Next up, we have Jules. Jules is a sweet one year old Australian Sheppard. She’s a young lady with a ton of energy and loves to play with stuffed toys and go on walks. As she is young, she will require training but is very smart and loving. She needs to go to a home that will provide her with lots of exercise and love. She’s already spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and is great with children, cats, and other animals.

These two dogs, along with many others, are available for adoption at the Alcona Humane Society. If you’re looking to add a new member to the family this holiday season and are ready to commit to caring for them for their whole lives, be sure to reach out to Alcona Humane Society. You can visit them at 457 W Traverse Bay State Road in Lincoln 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. any days except Thursdays and Mondays.
