No Injuries After Car Hits Pole Near Starlite Beach
No one was hurt from a one vehicle crash near Starlite Beach just after 4 p.m. on Thursday.
The car, driven by a young man, veered off of the roadway and into the sidewalk before striking a pole. WBKB’s reporter on scene overheard him telling police that he wasn’t paying attention. 
There were no serious injuries although airbags did deploy. A responding officer gave the man a sobriety test but did not place him in handcuffs.
The car had also taken out a road sign along with a large chunk of the wooden pole during a busy day at the beach.
