Needed Rain On The Way

Alpena MI – For tonight we will see clouds increase a isolated shower possible with lows in the 50s. For tomorrow we will see more clouds in the area with slight chance of showers, not everyone will see rain but the chances are there. The better chance of showers will be late Sunday into Monday & Tuesday as well. There is an updated drought monitor chart and we are seeing some areas down state that is reaching the severe drought category and the moderate drought has spread further north making the drought condition worse. With the rain chances that we have next week, we should see improvements in the drought monitor next week. Temperatures will be a little cooler next week with temperatures in the 70s, according to the temperature outlook that is seen below.
