MSU hosting webinar on opioid epidemic
LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State University is helping in the fight against opioid use. The university will host their Michigan Substance Use Prevention Education and Recovery (MiSUPER) webinar.
The webinar will focus on recognizing, preventing, and treatment of opioid misuse in rural communities.
According to MSU, seven people die everyday in Michigan from an opioid overdose and 75 percent of Michigan’s overdose deaths are related to opioid misuse.
The program is free online on February 19th from 12 to 1 pm with registration closing on February 18th.
