MidMichigan Medical Center offers sitter program
ALPENA, Mich. — Alpena’s MidMichigan Medical Center is offering a Safe Sitter Program.
The medical-based program is for preteens and teens between the ages of 11 to 13. Safe Sitter is for children who may be left alone for short periods of time or for those thinking about babysitting.
The program teaches rescue breathing, problem solving, CPR and and other skills.
The cost of the program is $55 and scholarships are available. Safe Sitter program will be held in auditorium 1 at Alpena’s MidMichigan Medical Center on April 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Class size is limited and registration is required.
