Lakeside Dance Company Presents: “Festival Of Trees” At Rogers City Theater

Lakeside Dance Company is arranging an event called “Festival of Trees” on Friday, December 15th at 6pm in the Rogers City Theater. It is open to all who’d like to attend and is a free will donation event. The event features a dance recital where the dance company will showcase its dancers and the hard work and dedication they’ve put into their craft.

“This Friday, we’re doing the Festival Of Trees, and it is to benefit the community and our dancers, so our dancers have worked so hard to get up on stage and perform their dances that they learned for recital and then we’re also having a silent auction along with this program and the proceeds from the silent auction along with this program and the proceeds from the silent auction are going to be donated to the Children In Need Fund here in Rogers City.” said Abbey Tulgestke, the founder and co-owner of Lakeside Dance Company.

A silent tree auction will be taking place at the event where attendees have the option to bid as much as they’d like on trees.

“There’s going to be a piece of paper next to the tree and you write how much you want to bid on that item and then we announce it at the very end of the show before the final bow of our dancers.” said Tulgetske.

Lakeside Dance Company co-owners Abbey Tulgetske, Meagan Florip and Anna Nadolsky, created their company to share their love of dance with their community and promote confidence and body positivity within youth.

“We brought our love of dance back home and we just want to share it with the community and teach young men and women, that they can be confident in their own skin and dance and do whatever they want to do in life so just thank you so much from everyone whose supported us and we hope to go a long way so we really appreciate everyone’s support.” said Tulgetske.
