Lake Effect Snow Chances This Weekend

Alpena MI – At times today we saw a little bit of lake effect snow showers in the area. The snowfall will be heavier the further inland you’re in, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a couple heavy bands of snow comes close to the Lake Huron territory. Tonight we will be partly cloudy with a couple of lake effect snow showers in the area lows will be in the lower teens to single digits in spots. Tomorrow we will have more snow showers in the area, specially later in the day, cold with highs in the lower 20s. Next week looks to be trending a little warmer when it comes to our temperatures. So the snow that has already fallen and will fall in the next couple days will began to melt as highs will be in the 40s.
