Alpena MI – I hope that everyone enjoyed the sunshine today because tomorrow will be a completely different story; we will see heavy wet snow and it will be windy along with all of this meaning that visibility could be an issue in the early morning hours. Tonight the snow begins and the snow will become more steady toward morning and turning windy with lows in the upper 20s. Tomorrow we will have heavy wet snow in the area, windy meaning that visibility will be lowered and driving conditions could be challenging at times. 4-6 inches is expected with isolated higher amounts. Highs will be in the middle to upper 30s. Winds will be out of the southwest at 15-25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. This is not the only system that we will be watching for going forward, Friday and Saturday will have snow chances as well. So stay weather alert.
