WHITTEMORE, MI- With the 2022 Michigan high school football season right around the corner, the WBKB sports team is heading around the North Star League getting a sneak peak at the teams preparation for the 2022 season.
Coming off of a 3-6 season, the Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals are looking to get back to the top of the standings. While the team is young and lacking experience, they return senior quarterback Brady Oliver.
“Hopefully I can be a better leader, and a better thrower of the football.” Said the senior, who also plays cornerback.
Head coach Jon Murphy was optimistic about the team heading into the season. “We are gaining experience and really focusing on the fundamentals.”
The Cardinals open up the season on August 26th as they host the Hillman Tigers.
