Aliferis Memorial Race
The 15th Annual Aliferis Memorial Race is open to runners, walkers and bikers of all ages and ability levels. Events include a duathlon, 26-mile bike race, bike tour, 5K run and 1-mile run/walk.
Registration fees range from $20 – $30 based on the event and a family rate of $70 – $80 is available. Discounts are available for early registration. All pre-registered participants received a race shirt. Registration is available on the day of the race beginning at 7 a.m. Runners may pick up race packets at the registration table on race day – no race materials will be mailed.
Race Day Schedule:
7 a.m. – Registration & Material Pickup
8 a.m. – Duathlon & Bike Race/Tour Start
9 a.m. – 1-Mile Run/Walk Start
9:30 a.m. – 5K Run Start
10:30 a.m. – Awards Ceremony
The event is sponsored by the Development Council at MidMichigan Medical Center – Alpena. All proceeds will benefit the Peter Aliferis Scholarship Fund, the Alpena Cancer Center, patient enhancement projects and new technology in Alpena.
