Employment Opportunities Still Available in Alpena

While the job market has recovered from the pandemic, the International Labor Organization is expecting unemployment rates to rise in 2024. However, here in Alpena, the our industrial businesses are still hiring. Jack Krawczak, corporate representative for ESI said, “We have plenty of openings still available for people that have fitting competencies. It does seem that there are businesses that maybe have slowed down quite a bit or maybe don’t have the openings they’ve had over the past couple of years. But for us and our clients, we still definitely still have plenty of openings in manufacturing, sales, and engineering.”
