Break From Rain Tomorrow But More Rain Chances For This Weekend
Alpena MI – Today there was plenty of sunshine, yes there was some showers at times but the sunshine won out with temperatures topping out in the upper 50s. Tonight we will have mostly cloudy skies; patchy fog can not be ruled out with low temperatures in the upper 30s to middle 40s. Inland areas had to be aware of possible frost tonight as we are going to be under a frost advisory; it will be in effect until 10AM EDT. If you have plants or sensitive vegetation you made want to bring them inside to avoid damage. Tomorrow we will be mostly cloudy with highs in the middle 50s. The rain chances will make it return for Friday into this weekend as another low pressure system will make its way across the Midwest. There will be no major warm up in the near future as temperatures will remain in the 50s.
