Artist Highlights Alpena Flyer for New Downtown Mural
A new mural is up in downtown Alpena.
Tim Nijenhuis from Ontario made the journey over to bring some more color outside the Light of Hope Clubhouse. He travels quite a bit as he makes he mark across the world.
Over the last 10 days he’s been working on this mural and says he hopes it connects well with the people of the area. “I investigated what Alpena is all about and I’m a little bit into cars and I came across the Alpena Flyer, the automobile that was produced in town, and I thought it would be a nice topic for the mural here,” he said.
You can find the new mural on the corner of Sable and 3rd Avenue in downtown Alpena.
