APN goes from print to digital
ALPENA, Mich. — If you visited the Alpena airport lately, you may have noticed that the airport no longer advertises through posters and print.
When designing the new terminal, the airport decided to include digital advertising. Airport Manager Steve Smigelski said they started a program in 2016 to make this transition.
Even though the Alpena airport is small, Smigelski shared the importance of the transition. In addition to advertising, the monitors also provide other helpful information.
Smigelski said they get their share of last minute travelers and the monitors help them by providing hotel availability, cab company recommendations and more.
