Alpena Weather – May 16, 2018
Across Alpena, it was a very warm day with a high of 84 degrees being driven by daytime winds out of the southwest. Wednesday’s high temperatures were nearly 20 degrees warmer than the normal of 65!
Overnight, northerly breezes will take over and bring cooler temperatures to the area. You might want to grab the jacket as you head out tomorrow, morning temperatures will be in the 40s. Across Northeastern Michigan tomorrow, a breeze from the east will keep temperatures in the 50s for much of the Lake Huron shoreline, but inland some locations should get as warm as the mid-60s.
Looking ahead, the bright skies will last through Friday. Moisture coming in from the south and from the west will give a chance of showers on Saturday, though Sunday should be mainly dry. High temperatures will hang out in the 60s through the weekend.
