Alpena Township finalizes date for public Q&A session
ALPENA, Mich.- Alpena Township Board of Trustees has reviewed terms of its proposed fire services contract with the city.
The board reviewed those terms at a special meeting Wednesday.
Trustees were also finalized the date, time and location for a public input session.
Township Supervisor Nathan Skibbe told WBKB this is an opportunity for residents to ask questions and for the board to provide transparency.
“The importance of the public input session is that we one, stated that we would take this step from the beginning and two, we are always looking for new and creative points of view that maybe we haven’t looked at before and explored,” said Skibbe.
The public Q&A session is scheduled for Thursday June 24 from 6 until 9 p.m. at the township building.
