Alpena Soccer Takes Down Cadillac
ALPENA, MI- After a successful 12 win regular season, the Alpena Wildcats boys soccer team began postseason play.
The Wildcats hosted Cadillac in round one of the district 32 tournament. Alpena led 6-0 at halftime and cruised to an 8-0 victory.
Jacob Beaubien led the Wildcat offense ending the day with a hat trick. Austin Townsend tallied two goals in the victory. It only took the Wildcats 55 seconds to strike in the match. Beaubien scored off a throw in to give Alpena the early lead.
Cameron Young, Gabe Glawe and Owen Kaiser each added goals for Alpena. The Wildcats advance to the district semi finals. They host Bay City Western on October 18.
