Alpena Man Arrested For Meth Possession and Carrying Concealed Metallic Knuckles
A man residing in Alpena has been arrested and charged with both drug possession and concealed weapon violation.
According to the Alpena Police Department, twenty nine year old Philip McConnell of Alpena, was arraigned in 88th District Court on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Carrying Concealed Metallic Knuckles.
The charges stem from a traffic stop that took place on March 2nd 2024. Alpena City Police Officers pulled over McConnell on Eleventh avenue for a traffic violation which resulted in the officers discovering Methamphetamine and Metallic Knuckles.
McConnell was lodged in the Alpena County Jail and he was later released on a personal recognizance bond.
The charges against McConnell carry a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
