Alpena FFA Will Soon Begin Annual Fruit and Nut Sale
The Future Farmers of America Alpena chapter is beginning their annual fruit and nut sale fundraiser in order to support chapter activities.
There will be all sorts of different fresh fruit, quality nuts and delicious candies that will be made available for sale, including Californian navels and Texas red grapefruits, as well as premium Michigan apples like honey crisps and Fuji’s. The candies include things like chocolates and taffy. You can also purchase mixed fruit boxes that make great holiday gifts. The money raised from this event is their largest funding of the year, and it goes towards supporting the FFA for things like community service events and travel for state and national conventions. Orders are due Monday, November 28th and the pickup dates are December 15th or 16th at Alpena High School.
