Alpena County Launches Survey Regarding Animal Control Department
On Monday, Alpena County launched an online survey to see what residents are looking for when it comes to the animal control department.
Right now current services provided by the department have proven to be too expensive for the county. Through this survey, they’re hoping to hear what people think of current funding, building use, and the services provided.
At last week’s board of commissioners meeting, residents showed up to show their desire to keep the department as it is now, but commissioners are largely in agreement that changes will have to be made one way or the other.
