ALPENA, Mich.– The Alpena Antique Tractor and Steam Engine Club seems to have had a slightly easier time than most when it comes to continuing its annual show. This is the club’s 37th year running the show, and it’s still going strong. The show is an opportunity for those who grew up on many of Michigan’s farms to reminisce on the work they or their grandparents used to do. It’s also a chance to let these antique machines continue their work while teaching people just how useful and multipurpose they truly were.
The event also included a tractor parade and tractor–cooked corn. It wrapped up earlier this evening.
