WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM TO 4 AM EDT WEDNESDAY!!

Alpena MI – There were peaks of sunshine during the morning hours but as the afternoon hours went on rain showers began to develop, and that will continue for Wednesday into Thursday. For tonight rain showers will be in the area, very windy along with some possible patchy fog in the area overnight lows will be in the middle to upper 30s. North northeast winds at 30-35 mph with gusts to 55 mph. Winds could be strong enough to cause minor power outages in some areas. Tomorrow rain showers and even a couple of snow flakes mixed it will be in the area continued windy with highs in the lower to middle 40s North northeast winds at 10-20 mph with gusts to 35 mph. Areas along the coastline may see less than an inch of snow but further inland could see 1-4 inches of snow when all set and done.  Thursday we will continue to see rain & snow showers in the area with wind gusts around 30 mph; after Thursday conditions will continue to improve and temperatures will began to warm up going into this weekend into early next week.
