Thunder Bay River Center Updates Businesses on River Center Project

It was a Mardi Gras party Friday morning with the word on the street in Alpena.

There wasn’t an empty seat inside of the Alpena Senior Center as the Chamber of Commerce once again hosted another edition of Good Morning Alpena.

The Thunder Bay River Center board educated local businesses about their plans to create a unique center and why it’s important to add on to the community.

The idea for the River Center was created back 2008 when there was a need for more bathrooms at Duck Park. Plans to break ground on the center are still pending at this time.
