Rain & Wind For Friday

Wind Advisory in effect from Friday 8:00 AM EDT until Saturday 2:00 AM EDT

Alpena MI – This afternoon was a soggy afternoon for everyone and our temperatures w are colder than this time 24 hours ago. We will continue to see rain showers for Friday and this weekend as well before we dry out next week. The big thing is that we will see our winds gusting up to around 45-50 mph which is strong enough to cause power outages and knockdown tree limbs. Tonight will be cloudy with showers in the area; turning windy but mild for this time of the year with overnight lows in the middle 40s. Tomorrow will be cloudy with showers in the area, very windy and chilly with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Winds will be out of the NW at 25-30 mph with gusts to 50 mph. Winds could be strong enough to cause minor damage. Next week our temperatures will start to warm up again.
